These rings are centrifugally as well as statically cast. They are available in the form of blank rings and in fully machined condition. Application : They are used for tube rolling in assel mills, sizing mills, stretch reducing mills, piercing mills. They are also used in structure rolling universal mills.

Chilled Rolls for Non Metallurgical Applications

Chilled rolls are also used for various applications in Paper, Rubber, Flour, Textile Mills etc. The Chill depths of these rolls are generally in the range 12-15 mm. The hardness of such Rolls ranges from 60 to 75.
